Pip is a period tracker that keeps nothing.
No account, no servers, no analytics, no ads. Your cycle stays on your phone, and the forecast is worked out there too.
This is Pip. She's a small chick who learns your rhythm and says how sure she is.
Pip is an iPhone app, coming soon to the App Store.
This page will carry the link the day she ships.
Your cycle stays on your phone.
Nobody is buying your cycle from us, because we have nothing to sell.
- No account with us. No email, no password, nothing to sign up for.
- No servers of ours. No analytics, no ads, no third-party code.
- Optional Face ID lock. A Discreet mode keeps details off your lock screen.
- Export everything as JSON, or delete everything, from Settings. One tap each.
- Backup, if you choose it, is sealed on your phone before it leaves, in your own iCloud, under keys only your devices hold. We cannot read it.
Encrypted backup is part of Pip Save, and each phone joins only when you say so. Until it's on, a lost or wiped phone means a lost history. Export from Settings if that matters to you.
The privacy policy says all of this again, at length.
An honest window, every cycle.
Most trackers print one confident day. A menstrual cycle keeps its own schedule. Pip forecasts your next period as a dated window and puts its confidence in plain words: a tight band when she has your rhythm, a wide one while she is still learning. Every period you log narrows it, and you can watch that happen.
- Fertile window and an ovulation estimate, for awareness
- A month calendar where the darker the day, the likelier it is
- Cycle length, period length, and your recent cycles
She keeps her own scorecard.
Pip records the window she drew, waits for your period, checks whether it landed inside, and shows you the running tally. The score comes from your own logs, on your phone. When she misses a month, she says so and re-draws.
You can check her work. That is the point of showing it.
Open, log, done.
Log it. She notices.
Flow, mood, cramps, sleep, sex, medication, cervical mucus, LH tests, basal temperature. The common ones sit first, the rest wait a tap away. Pip reacts to what you log. Period logs sharpen the forecast; notes stay just for you.
Pip can bring past period dates in from Apple Health. Read-only, only when you ask.
Reminders that say how sure they are.
A heads-up before your period, a note when your fertile window opens and closes, a gentle check-in if you're running late, and one question on the day your answer teaches her most, answerable from the notification. When Pip is confident you get the day; when she isn't, she says so. Nothing arrives until you allow notifications; each reminder has its own switch.
On your home screen.
Widgets put your next-period window and today's phase a glance away. The lock-screen glance starts discreet, a quiet glyph, with plain words only if you switch them on. Log from a widget and Pip catches up the next time you open her.
Bring your flock.
Share with people you trust. Invite a friend and her cycle arrives from her own phone: only what she chooses to show, encrypted end to end. An invite works once and expires in a week. Either of you can end a share in one tap, and an ended share stays ended. Sharing is part of Pip Save.
Irregular cycles are welcome here.
If your cycles vary, a wide honest window is the right answer, and that is what you get, with nothing about you called wrong. If a pattern is worth a mention, Pip says it once, and your export makes a record you can hand to a doctor.
The free part and the paid part.
The tracker is free: forecasts, calendar, logging, patterns, the scorecard, reminders, widgets, export and delete. No trial clock, no locked history, no ads.
Pip Save is the one optional extra, a yearly or monthly subscription. It adds encrypted backup, restore to a new phone, sync across your devices, and linked sharing. If it lapses, you keep everything.
Questions people ask.
Is there a period tracker without an account?
Pip is one. No email, no password, and nothing to sign up for. You open her and start logging, and what you log sits in a database on your phone.
Can anyone see my period data?
We cannot. Your logs sit on your phone, and Pip has no servers of ours for them to reach. If you invite a friend to your flock she sees a small fixed summary you chose to show, never your diary, and either of you can end the share in one tap.
Does Pip sell my data?
No. Pip runs no analytics, no ads and no third-party code, so there is no collection to sell from. Your cycle never reaches a server we own.
Is Pip free?
The tracker is free: forecasts, calendar, logging, patterns, the scorecard, reminders, widgets, export and delete. No trial clock, no locked history, no ads. Pip Save is the one optional extra, a yearly or monthly subscription that adds encrypted backup, restore to a new phone, sync across your devices and linked sharing. If it lapses, you keep everything.
Does Pip work with irregular cycles?
Yes. If your cycles vary, Pip draws a wider window and says so, with nothing about you called wrong. Every period you log narrows what she draws next.
What happens if I get a new phone?
With encrypted backup on, your history comes back on the new phone. Backup is part of Pip Save, it is sealed on your phone before it leaves, it lives in your own iCloud under keys only your devices hold, and each phone joins only when you say so. Without backup, a lost or wiped phone means a lost history, so export your data as JSON from Settings if that matters to you.
Can Pip tell me if I'm pregnant?
No. Pip is for personal awareness, not diagnosis, and she cannot tell you whether you are pregnant. A late period has many causes. If something feels off, please talk to a clinician.
Does Pip work offline?
Yes. Pip works out your forecast on your phone, and a fresh install makes no network requests with your data. Encrypted backup and flock sharing reach the network, and both wait until you switch them on.
Can I bring my period history in from Apple Health?
Pip can read past period dates from Apple Health, read-only, and only when you ask. Those days become ordinary Pip logs, so they sharpen her forecast like anything else you log. You can disconnect Health at any time in Settings.
How do I delete everything?
Settings, then Delete all my data. It erases the local database and, if backup was ever on, the remote copy, and Pip confirms the remote deletion before she clears the local traces. Deleting the app removes the local database with it.
